FAQs about Fees
Do you accept insurance?
Our practice is not paneled or contracted with any insurance company. We can provide superbills, which are fancy, insurance-approved receipts for sessions. You can submit those to your insurance for reimbursement. This means that you would pay for each of your session and then negotiate reimbursement with your insurance company.
What happens if I can’t afford the intensives?
We have partnered with CareCredit, in order to provide financing for your mental health care. If you are interested in an EMDR, Brainspotting, or Couples Intensives but need financing in order to pay for the service, you can explore your financing options here.
Why don’t you accept insurance?
We know that therapy is an investment. We have found that contracting with an insurance company deeply limits the therapy experience. Most insurance companies require a diagnosis for reimbursement, will limit users to too few sessions each year, and become too involved in patient care.
Do you offer sliding scale fees?
Yes! Our practice has a limited amount of sliding scale spots available. We hope to make trauma-informed care more accessible to all. If you are in need of sliding scale options, please email us here and we will match you with a therapist with availability.
How much does therapy cost?
Our sessions cost between $250-$350 per session. We keep a credit or debit card on file for ease of payment. Each of our therapists offers a limited number of sliding-scale therapy spots. If you are in financial need of a sliding scale, you can email us here and we will match you with an available therapist.
Can a parent or partner pay for my therapy?
Sure! Your client portal will have a space to fill out credit or debit card information. You can add whatever payment form you’d like there and it will be automatically charged following each session. If you ever need to change your form of payment, you can update your payment information in the portal.
EMDR Intensives
EMDR is a brain-based intervention to help you process trauma. We offer Intensives, which are extended periods of EMDR processing over 3 or 5 days. We have specialized training for Flash Technique. We make EMDR Intensives accessible through financing with CareCredit.
Brainspotting Intensives
Brainspotting is a brain-based intervention for those that easily dissociate and need help staying present in their experience. We offer Intensives, which are extended periods of Brainspotting over 3 or 5 days. These intensives are made more accessible through financing with CareCredit.
Ketamine-Assisted Therapy
Ready to see what ketamine can do for your treatment-resistant depression, anxiety and trauma symptoms? We help make ketamine treatment more therapeutic through Ketamine-Assisted Therapy. Financing available in partnership with CareCredit.

If you would prefer to spread payments over time rather than paying all at once, CareCredit could be a great fit. Some of our Intensives and Retreat options can come with a higher price tag and we want to make sure everyone has access.
-
CareCredit offers payment plans from 6 to 60 months with many plans offering no interest if paid in full by the promotion date.
-
No, applying does not hurt your credit score. It’s considered a “soft pull” which means they have access to the same info you do on something like Credit Karma, etc.
-
After you pick a payment plan, you will receive an email confirmation with your payment plan details and instructions on how to make your monthly payment. You may then proceed with your treatment. Just reach out to your therapist or our Therapist Matchmaker to get something scheduled.
Payment Methods
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Discover) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) run through major credit cards. We keep a credit card on file and it will be charged in the event of a late cancellation or not showing up for your scheduled appointment. We ask for 48 hours notice to make a change to your scheduled appointment.
We are not in network or paneled with any insurance companies. We do this for a few reasons. Over our years in practice, we have found that accessing therapy through insurance requires a mental health diagnosis for reimbursement (even when one is not present) and limits the amount of sessions covered. Because we do not accept insurance, the client is responsible for the entire session fee on the day of the session. We can provide superbills that can be submitted to insurance for reimbursement.
Good Faith Estimate
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) of expected charges. The GFE shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for services provided by Woven. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created. It does not take into account any reimbursement that you may receive as a result of out of network benefits.
The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur.
If you are billed for more than this Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
You may contact Dr. Quincee Gideon, Clinical Director of Woven Together Trauma Therapy to let her know the billed charges are higher than the Good Faith Estimate.
Low Cost or Sliding Scale Therapy
Each of our therapists reserves a specific number of weekly slots for sliding scale therapy for those experiencing financial hardship. We want to make mental health services accessible.
